The Office of Enrollment Services at Eastern Washington University invites applications for an Admissions Advisor – Application Specialist to support EWU’s undergraduate admissions process. The salary for this position is $40,019 (minimum) up to $48,027. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills. In addition to salary, the university offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life and disability insurance and retirement. In addition, EWU offers generous vacation and sick leave accruals, 12 paid holidays per year and fringe benefits, such as tuition waiver for employees and eligible family members, discounted EWU sports tickets, full access to our campus workout facilities at a minimum fee and free transportation through STA buses. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

One or more years of experience in higher education admissions or a related field

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

 

Special Skills/Abilities Required

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Adaptability to changing priorities and workload

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with student information systems (e.g., Banner, Slate)

Knowledge of Eastern Washington University’s programs and admission requirements

Familiarity with international credential evaluation

Experience in data analysis and reporting
